Strategy, product, website and platform — from concept to paid-traffic readiness

Why we believe in this project
We believe in Business Buyers Hub because the problem is real and you know it from the inside: for every business that sells, there are dozens of buyers no one helps; only ~10% of brokered listings ever sell; and an enormous wave of owners is heading into retirement with no succession plan. Betting on buyers is contrarian — and strong: everyone monetizes the seller side, while a database of qualified buyers is an asset sellers will come to on their own. And the succession angle — "you don't have to sell 100%; bring in a successor at 10% and grow them" — is a differentiation nobody serves today. Working analogs confirm the demand: communities and programs built around buying small businesses are growing and monetizing.
The key question at the start isn't "how do we build the platform" — it's "what does a buyer pay for on day one, while there are no sellers in the database yet." That's why we propose not to start with a full marketplace. First we package your expertise into productized, flat-fee services (the real lesson of HelloDivorce isn't just the friendly UX — it's the flat-fee model replacing hourly consultants), then we build the minimal infrastructure — the website + SmartMatchApp — and test demand with paid advertising on two clearly defined message → path → offer combinations. Matching stays manual and curated until liquidity appears. This way every dollar of budget works to validate hypotheses rather than build technology you may not need — fully in line with your own principle: "fail fast and small."
02
How the proposal is structured
Package 1 · Fixed
The foundation in ~12 weeks: strategy, productization, website, SmartMatchApp — everything the platform needs to launch.
Options · Your choice
Video program, seller validation, email re-engagement — they strengthen the launch but aren't required for it. Each priced separately.
Monthly phase
Ad launch, funnel testing, creative production and data-driven product iterations — after go-live.
03
Package 1 — Foundation & Launch Readiness ~12 weeks
Phase 1Strategy & Market Intelligence
Weeks 1–2
Strategy session: finalizing the MVP model — three decisions (business model, first-user journey, minimal tech stack).
Competitor advertising analysis (Meta Ad Library and others): players, angles, formats, long-running offers → selection of the most promising directions for launch.
Legal checklist for your attorney ("no commissions" claims, advisory services, use of the historic database) — a gate before any advertising goes live.
Phase 2Productization & Offer Design
Weeks 2–4
The offer ladder: free quiz → low-cost entry product → core packages → advisory; 2–3 productized packages with pricing hypotheses.
Two advertising combinations "message → entry point → offer"; final selection locked at the strategy session.
A messaging map for the website and ads: arguments, objections, your own words from your own materials.
Phase 3Website
Weeks 4–9
Structure and copywriting following the HelloDivorce pattern: a hard decision → a friendly step-by-step guide.
Core pages (~10–12): Home, For Buyers, How It Works, About Brian, Membership, Resources, FAQ, Contact and more.
Conditional-logic quiz + booking calendar for 15-minute consultations.
Productized package pages; a minimal "For Business Owners" path.
Two campaign landing pages for the selected combinations.
Website ↔ SmartMatchApp integration: quiz data → profile, membership payments.
Email integration: transactional and basic nurture sequences.
Analytics: GA4, pixels, funnel events. QA of every path.
Phase 5Launch Readiness
Weeks 11–12
Media plan: channel and budget recommendations based on the competitor analysis.
Website go-live, final QA, handover to the monthly phase.
The outcome of Package 1
A working website with full structure and landing pages, productized packages, a configured and connected SmartMatchApp, and selected advertising directions — the platform is ready for paid traffic. With the Founder Video Program option — plus filmed footage and the first ad creatives ready at launch.

One package: the core includes only what the platform needs to launch. Options are added as separate line items — your choice. The website is built on Webflow, so you'll be able to edit content and Resources yourself.
05
Options
Option 1 — Founder Video Program
$2,000
Topics + hook scripts for the first batch of videos (10–12) built around the selected combinations.
You film in parallel with the website build (weeks 4–10), so footage is ready before the ads go live.
Editing of the first 6–8 ad creatives: hooks, captions, platform-specific formats.
Not required for the platform launch; without it, creative production starts in the monthly phase and the ad launch shifts by one production cycle.
Option 2 — Seller-Side Validation Kit
$1,500
Interview scripts and structure for 10 conversations with business owners from your Colorado network.
Debrief: how owners think about succession, the words they use, their openness to minority stakes / "hire your buyer".
Findings feed Business Sellers Hub and future seller messaging.
Option 3 — Email Re-engagement of the Historic Database
$2,000
Delivered in the monthly phase
Your asset: a few thousand buyer contacts with NDAs and profiles from your brokerage practice.
A one-time re-permission campaign: segmentation, an email series, explicit opt-in into the new BBH list.
Strictly after legal review (consent / CAN-SPAM). Setup + campaign included; reply handling is part of the monthly work.
06
Monthly Phase — Growth & Validation
Launch and management of ad campaigns in the selected channels.
Creative production from your footage: editing, hooks, captions, formats.
Funnel testing: iterations of messages, landing pages and offers.
CRO: data-driven funnel improvements.
Product recommendations: the next wave of hypotheses — packages, pricing, entry points.
Monthly report + next month's plan.
